The original wallpaper here was...really psychadelic (it was purple and gray paisley!)
This bath had steel and glass shower doors as well as a steel bath mirror.
The tile grout was
yellow from all the smoke. I used grout white between all the tiles to get rid of
the yellow.
We stripped the paper and painted the walls white. We replaced the bath mirror with a wood, mirrored, medicine cabinet.
We also removed the shower doors.
I put up a border paper of lighthouses and accessorised with a ceramic lighthouse and an iron lighthouse lantern.
I wanted a shower curtain and window curtain that matched. I couldn't find
a set anywhere! So, I had to make them. I purchased two fabric shower curtains (the were $13 each) and used the second one to make a window valance and some handtowels.
I also stripped and refinished the vanity. I replaced the
the hardware on it as well.
Just a few weeks ago, my husband put down a new floor!.
YIPEE! This room is finished..........
blth - now there's the half bath downstairs to think about!!
